Halloween

We had been counting down the weeks for Spencer’s parents to come to town. It was so fun to be able to spend Halloween weekend with them. I was able to get some time off work and Spencer cleared his calendar so we could fully enjoy the short time they had with us.
Unfortnatly it would seem I still carry around the Knowlton Curse with me! Chris and Kim came on separate flights that staggered almost 2 hours. Lucky for us we live fairly close to the Airport so we picked Kim up first and brought her home to relax until Chris arrived at 11:15. We left early enough to make sure we were on time and sat the car in the parking lot with the ignition off but the radio running. By the time we got Chris and loaded him in the car we discovered we ran the battery down and it would not start! Fortunately the parking lot was busy for that time of night, a nice lady allowed us to use her battery and we made it home.

Friday night we went to a Murder Mystery Dinner called “Forget About It” (said like an Italian mobster). It was placed in the party room of Dave and Busters which is like a Chucky Cheese for Adults. They served a three course meal with three acts. We sat at tables of six which made up each group. Within these groups we came up with team names and together we decided who the murderer was. At the end of the show whichever team guessed the right murderer won a prize, game cards to play at the arcade. Unfortunately no one got the right man (It was the obvious person, who picks that guy!). Fortunately for our team – the other couple in our group had a birthday girl. So the Host came to our table and had her could pick any card that had our team names on and they would win the game. She was pretty gutsy, she went through the cards found our team and picked that card, so we won! We then had four cards with 50 credits each, so we hit the floor and what did we find… Deal or No Deal. Chris was amazing at it; he managed to win us over 1000 tickets. I have never had that many tickets in my life! We then wondered around the “store” until we saw the perfect prize, a Food Processor! What a night!

We then spent the rest of the weekend showing off Tulsa. We went to Riverside Park, Downtown, Midtown and of course a great Rib Joint! We could not have asked for a better weekend. The Wienz probably had the best time out of all of us. Chris took him for so many walks I do not think Wienz know what to do with himself. Wienz was also the saddest to see Chris go because that meant that He would not go for as many or as long of walks until they meet again!
We did not do much for Halloween and all, but we did get Wienz a cut little Hot Dog costume. Sadly he doesn't know how to walk with it on. Wienz lowers his behind and kinda wadles across the room like the costume is really heavy. It is pretty funny to watch and even in this picture he has a really concerned look on his face, silly pup!
We were so happy to have Chris and Kim and so sad to see them go! Now we have to get back to life, and are now counting down until Christmas when we get to see them again.
